Wedding Favors

The final product for my son and soon-to-be daughter's wedding in July.
Her colors are purple and blue and the Pansy Purple was the perfect match for what she'd chosen. :-)
The box is similar to a 2-4-6-8 box, except I adapted it to be 2 inches front and back and only 1.5 inches on the sides, with a flap up top. Similar to the 2-5-7-10 box on SCS. I can't take all the credit for it. LOL
The stamp set used is Enjoy Every Moment (C1395). Her bouquet is going to have lilies in them so this stamp came out at the best time!
Everything is CTMH except the punches. The circles and scalloped circle are from SU. The edge punch for the flap is Threading Waters from Fiskars. I *heart* that punch!
Also used Colonial White CS and Z2141Pansy Purple ink for the stamping.
Each guest's name will be in the circle on the tag and the name of the Bride and Groom with their wedding date will run up the side of the rectangle the lilies are on.
Inside will be tulle filled with Misty Mints ... my son's choice for the candy. :-)

Did you notice ... because I didn't!

I had no idea until I got my Keynotes (the CTMH Consultant magazine) that they've reduced prices on several items in the Idea Book for the Summer 2010 book!!!

You can tell which ones they are because they will have two prices listed and the higher price will be crossed out. Some of them are REALLY reduced!

They also said, it is "while supplies last" on them so once they are gone for this Idea Book, they are gone. They didn't specify if it was forever gone, or just for this Idea Book so don't ask! LOL

Just thought I would share that with you in case you hadn't noticed, like me. I just buy. I don't really look at the prices so this was a very nice surprise to have pointed out to me.

If something is reduced that's been on your Wish List, now might be the best time to get it.

Ship me off an email if you want to order them now .... just in case! I'll be putting in my order this month for sure for some of them. I LOVE a good deal.

Introducing....

Nikki and Irma! I've decided I need a Design Team and these fab ladies have graciously accepted my invitation to be on my team! I am so excited!

Each month I will give both girls the same products and sometimes a challenge to go with it and see what they come up with. I think it will be so fun to see what two different people come up with using the exact same thing. I didn't join them in April but will be using the same products in May so we'll see what three people can do with the same products! Too much fun!

This is Nikki. Super fun lady - and proud to call her friend. She's a self-confessed slap-scrapper. So jealous she pulls things together so fast and they still look like she spent hours on it! She created a layout and a card for you to drool over.

Meet Irma! Another super fun lady who I am also proud to call my friend. Irma is how I came to know Close To My Heart! She is a self-confessed perfectionist when it comes to scrapping and card making. She has her own blog if you want to check it out HERE! This month she's created a layout (also the April challenge posted earlier!) and a set of cards with a box. Seee? Talented!

Here are the products I gave each of them - along with some Creme Brulee ribbon (couldn't find a picture for it ... lol)
Z1275 mini medley accents antiqued copper collection

X7119B veranda level 2 paper packet

Z1266 just blooms spring blossom paper flowers

I Have Mono! (May 2010 Challenge)

Monochromatic fever that is! This month's challenge is to create a layout using your favorite color and ONLY your favorite color. No color photos either - black and white only. (Unless you want to tint your photo your fave color too...hehehehehe) :-)

If you must include journaling and don't like the look of having it printed onto a shade of your fave color, use hidden journaling.

As with last month, post a link to your layout in the comments section of this post OR email me a photo of your layout OR post it in the photos section of my CTMH group on Facebook.

The prize this month (via a random drawing of all entries) will be a brand new CTMH stamp set. This time it will be the May Stamp of the Month!!!!

Happy scrapping!

Last Chance!

You have until I get home from work today at 8pm PST to get your submissions in for the April challenge! The winner of the random draw will receive one of my BRAND NEW Close To My Heart stamp sets that I will be putting up for sale on my other blog. You will get to choose between three different ones.

Hurry!
