Did this layout for a challenge on a Facebook Challenge Club I belong to. The challenge was to do a layout about yourself that HAD to include a picture of yourself so I cheated and used one from the past! LOL

Am using this particular layout for my family history scrapbook so have not included the journaling since it will contain a lot of personal vital statistics.

I plan on making a second page for it that contains pictures from different phases of my life on it, but this is a good start.

Products used:
CC1003 - Key To My Heart Paper Pack/Stamp Set (limited availability set but I do have two complete sets if you are interested. Email me for price or details on this package.)
Z2167 - Creme Brulee ink
Z2105 - Black ink
E1002 - Rustic Alphabet Stamp Set
Z1146 - Pewter Decorative Brads
Other - Fiskars Threading Waters Borner Punch, scissors, adhesive

On another note, I have a group on Facebook that anyone can join and you can check out CTMH with Lisa here.

Where were you?

Where were you in 1984?

In 1984 I graduated from highschool ... my son turned one year old ... Farrah Fawcett hair was in ... and Close to my Heart was born! (Formerly known as D.O.T.S. - Dozens of Terrific Stamps)

Jeanette Lynton started her company in 1984 and CTMH is celebrating 25 years!

To celebrate, they are running an amazing special in the month of February. You are the one getting gifts, though. When you spend $25 US / $31.25 CAN in My Acrylix® stamps (K-size customized, Stamp of the Month, and any discounted retired sets excluded), you'll receive a totally cool, custom-designed B-size stamp set, appropriately titled “Good Times.” It’s a celebration-themed set, with a variety of fun party icons and sentiments.

I'm so excited about it, I want to help in the celebration, too. I am running my own 25th Anniversary promotion. Intrigued? Email me for details. It's worth it!

Don't forget about the Stamp of the Month for February! Check it out on page 108 of the Spring 2009 Idea Book. I'm definitely getting this one!

New Beginnings

A new year, a new blog, a new venture.

I became a Close to my Heart Consultant in October of 2008 but with the holidays so close, life was hectic. So ... a new year brings a fresh excitement.

It also means a new Idea Book! Full of beautiful ideas, stunning new products and some fabulous new colors. The cover of the idea book is just a drop in the bucket compared to what is inside.

Don't believe me? Click on the link in the right column .... you'll find a viewable catalog under Products.
