It's October!

Can you believe it? September just flew by. All good intentions of being uber creative flew by as well and can honestly say I did nothing creative all month! *gasp* Nothing!

I will be happy once my creative space is all cleaned out and the excess sold off so I can actually move in there and find things! lol Probably the mojo will have some room to inspire me then 'cause it's sure not working right now. LOL

Scrapbook Supply Yard Sale!

It's official! I am going to have my scrapbook supply yard sale on October 11th from 10am to 2pm. It's all stuff from my personal stash (including some CTMH items I am not needing anymore). If you need details and live in the Kamloops BC area, send me an email and will provide more details.

I will be doing a raffle of sorts for one of our kits, with all the proceeds going to Operation Smile. Everything is going to be priced 50% or more below retail with additional discounts depending on how much you spend.

She had asked me to do a memorial layout for her about her mom, dad, and nephew. She didn't want it really flowery which is hard for me because I LOVE my blossoms! LOL Went for something semi-fancy but still masculinish with just pops of cranberry to go with her mom's top. Looks so much better in real life but you get the idea! LOL

The black edge is actually the frame I put the layout in. No, it's not a double page layout, it's actually a 11"x20" frame since a 12x12 would have been too small and the original frame of 12x36 was wayyyy too big. LOL

Where does time go?

What happened to summer? Seriously .... it vanished in a blink of an eye!

One great thing about the end of summer and the arrival of fall is the Fall/Winter Idea Book! This one is simply amazing! I love ALL of the new paper packs and the artwork is stunning!!! My wish list is huge and can't wait to start playing with all the new goodies!

On another note, I finally created something this week. LOL One of the great ladies I work with commissioned me to do a memorial layout for her and it turned out better than I had hoped and she liked it! Yay!

I forgot to ask her if it was okay to share it with everyone (I did take a picture of it) but will check with her and post it if it's okay with her.

I also ordered the Twitterpated Workshop Kit and can't wait to get all creative with it. Love that it comes with a stamp set exclusive to the kit. Will be getting all four of them and getting some classes together for everyone ... will keep you posted on when and how much!
